The National Resource Center on ADHD maintains the NRC Library as a source for scientific-medical evidence based information on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and related topics. The NRC library collection includes:
- ADHD Special collection of books/monographs/audiovisuals and related materials
- ADHD Evidenced-based/Peer-reviewed health sciences/medical journal titles
- ADHD Resources Literature Database of science based indexed articles
The NRC Library database maintains cataloged records of books, journal articles, DVDs, audiotapes and other material on ADHD.
Searching the Library Catalog: Users can search the database using any combination of keyword, title, author, subject, record type, or publication date. Use the Browse buttons to browse and select indexed terms. Additional searching tips are located on the right sidebar of the search page. To access the Help features, your Web browser's pop-up blocker must be turned off.
From the search results, users can see a record's full citation or add the citation to a "cart." The "cart" functions like a clipboard, enabling users to create individualized reference lists that can later be emailed or saved in various file formats.
In addition to this online database, the National Resource Center also houses a small collection of materials in our Library at CHADD's national office in Landover, MD. This library is open to the public, by appointment only. For further information, please see information on visiting the National Resource Center on ADHD found on the Contact Us page or contact the NRC Librarian.
The NRC Library is an Affiliate Member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine under the auspices of the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
