Updates to the NIMH Multimodal Treatment Study of ADHD (MTA)

Since the MTA Cooperative Group's first paper on "A 14-Month Randomized Clinical Trial of Treatment Strategies for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder" was published in 1999, the NIMH has issued a number of statements (Press Releases and Science Updates) highlighting particular dimensions of the study, or providing "updates" based on new, follow-up data.  These statements are helpful in understanding both the importance and limitations of this landmark study's overall meaning.
