  • Do you know a teenager or a college-aged young adult who has been prescribed stimulant medication for ADHD?
  • Are you concerned about the sharing or misuse of prescription ADHD medication?

Students who have been prescribed stimulant medications often find themselves pressured by peers to share their prescriptions. Unfortunately, many donít know or fully understand the dangers of sharing or misusing their stimulant medications, including health risks, legal entanglements, even expulsion from school.

During the August Ask the Expert, Dr. Mark Wolraich will discuss the health and legal risks of sharing medications, how the misuse of medications can be prevented, and how teens and young adults can take an active role in safeguarding their medications.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask Dr. Wolraich how students, parents and educators can help to prevent the misuse of medication during the question and answer session.
